First of all, I’m so happy to see you found my page 🥳

My name is Ilka and I’m a landscape architect living in Norway, mostly spending my time in the northernmost civilized society in the world, Svalbard! I clearly can’t get enough of landscapes, that’s why I decided to use 3 different techniques to portray the diverse landscapes I come across while discovering every nook and cranny of the world.

My passion for travelling increased during my 16 years as an athlete and when that came to an end in 2020, I kept travelling and replaced my table tennis racket with a camera. Now I’m aiming to experience as many different countries as possible while documenting my travels through photography, illustrations and knitting projects.

As well as working on my own personal projects, I do also take on other assignments and would love to help out with photography tasks, or requests concerning knitting patterns and digital illustrations!
